David played in the Alstom Open de France at Le Golf National on the outskirts of Paris and was once again just one shot adrift of the halfway cut.
He shot rounds of 73 and 71 leaving him on a 144 total of two over par. The winner of the event was Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez who claimed victory after a sudden-death play-off at the first extra hole from Francesco Molinari and Alejandro Canizares.
David's next event is the JP McManus Pro-am at Adare Manor on Monday and Tuesday in Ireland and then the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond which begins on Thursday.
