David played in the Avantha Masters at the DLF Golf and Country Club in New Delhi and finished in a tie for 57th place on level par.
With wife Emily carrying the bag for him in India, David put together rounds of 74, 68, 69 and finished with a disappointing 77 on the Sunday to give him a four round total of 288.
Australia's Andrew Dodt won the event with a score of fourteen under par, one shot ahead of England's Richard Finch.
He now takes a break and his next tournament is the Maybank Malaysian Open beginning on 4th March. He will also be a studio guest for Sky Sports during the WGC - Accenture Match Play Championship.
